Delicious, savory steak bites cooked in an air fryer that are perfect as an appetizer or main course.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound sirloin steak or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: 1 teaspoon dried herbs (like thyme or rosemary)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter for garlic butter sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced for garlic butter sauce
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for garlic butter sauce
Juice of half a lemon for garlic butter sauce
Optional: 1 cup bell peppers, cut into chunks
Optional: 1 cup zucchini, sliced
Instructions
Start by cutting the sirloin or ribeye steak into 1-inch cubes.
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and optional dried herbs. Add the steak cubes to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.
Place the marinated steak bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook them for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
If using bell peppers or zucchini, add them to the air fryer basket in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
While the steak bites are cooking, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice.
Once the steak bites are done, remove them from the air fryer and toss them in the garlic butter sauce. Serve immediately.
