Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound of sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic herb seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 pound baby potatoes, halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
In a large pot of salted water, add the halved baby potatoes and bring to a boil. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until fork-tender. Once tender, drain and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine the steak pieces with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic herb seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss thoroughly and let sit for about 10 minutes.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the drained potatoes, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
In the same skillet, add the seasoned steak bites in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes without stirring, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Optionally, add lemon juice and chopped parsley.
Return the steak bites and potatoes to the skillet, tossing gently in the garlic butter sauce for about 1-2 minutes.
Plate the steak bites and potatoes, drizzling extra garlic butter sauce over the top. Serve immediately.
