Delicious, crispy chicken wings made in a Stainless Steel Air Fryer.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 pounds chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
1 tablespoon baking powder, aluminum-free
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
In a large bowl, combine baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Add the chicken wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
Preheat your Stainless Steel Air Fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
While the wings are air frying, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, and honey (if using) in a small bowl.
Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl, pour the sauce over them, and toss until they are fully coated.
Serve the wings immediately while they are hot. Optionally, garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds.
