This creamy, layered treat is perfect for warm summer days, requiring no oven time, yet delivering a decadent experience that will leave everyone asking for seconds.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
8 oz (1 package) cream cheese, softened
1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
1 cup chocolate pudding mix
3 cups milk
1 cup whipped topping (for topping)
12-15 rectangular graham crackers
Chocolate chips or shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. This should take about 2-3 minutes on medium speed.
Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until fully incorporated.
In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and 3 cups of milk for about 2 minutes or until thickened. Let the mixture sit for an additional 5 minutes to firm up even more.
In a 9x13 inch dish, layer half of the graham crackers on the bottom. Spread half of the peanut butter mixture over the graham crackers.
Pour half of the chocolate pudding layer over the peanut butter layer, spreading evenly.
Add another layer of graham crackers, followed by the remaining peanut butter mixture, then the remaining chocolate pudding. Finish with the rest of the whipped topping on top.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.
