1 large loaf of soft white bread (like French or Korean milk bread), preferably day-old
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a medium bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt until well combined. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld.
In another bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, green onions, sugar, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Make diagonal cuts in the loaf of bread about 1 inch apart, ensuring not to cut all the way through.
Spread the garlic butter mixture generously between the cuts in the bread, followed by the cream cheese mixture.
Wrap the st■ loaf in aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes.
For an extra touch, remove the foil in the last 5 minutes of baking to allow the top to become golden.
Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.
