Ingredients
Scale:
12 slider rolls (preferably soft and fluffy, such as Hawaiian rolls or other brioche-style options)
1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
Cut the slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish. Layer the roast beef evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Brush this mixture over the top halves of the slider rolls. Place the top halves on top of the cheese-covered beef.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Let the sliders cool for a few minutes in the pan. Serve them warm with the prepared au jus on the side.
