A delightful and savory snack that will impress your guests or satisfy your cravings, these Crispy Crab Rangoon Bombs are the perfect blend of rich cream cheese, fresh crab meat, and delightful seasonings, all encased in a crunchy wonton wrapper.
Ingredients
Scale:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup crab meat, cooked and shredded
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
20-24 wonton wrappers
Oil for frying
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well blended.
Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the crab filling in the center. Be careful not to overfill.
Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with a little water. Fold the wrapper in half to create a triangle, pressing the edges to seal tightly.
Repeat this process until all the filling is used, placing the filled wrappers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully add the wonton bombs to the hot oil in batches and fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried wontons and place them on a paper towel-lined plate.
Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm with your preferred dipping sauce.
