A creamy, easy-to-make dip that combines the classic flavors of Italian bruschetta, perfect for summer parties or any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 cups ripe tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup sliced olives (optional)
Assorted bread (baguette slices, pita chips, or crackers)
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use a hand mixer or a spatula to blend until smooth and creamy.
In a separate bowl, prepare the bruschetta topping by mixing the diced tomatoes, chopped fresh basil, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Stir gently to combine.
Once the base is creamy and well mixed, spread it evenly into the bottom of a shallow serving dish.
Carefully spoon the bruschetta mixture over the cream cheese base, spreading it out evenly.
If using, sprinkle sliced olives over the top of the bruschetta layer.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Before serving, give the dip a gentle stir and serve with assorted dippers.
