Ingredients
Scale:
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon homemade taco seasoning
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon sweet relish
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
8 small flour or corn tortillas
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Pickles for garnish
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, sweet relish, and apple cider vinegar. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Set aside in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and taco seasoning. Allow the beef to sear without stirring for about 2-3 minutes.
Using a spatula, smash the beef down into thin patties. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the edges are brown and crispy. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until cooked through.
In a separate skillet or on a griddle, warm the tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
On each warm tortilla, place a generous scoop of the smash burger filling. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese. Drizzle with the special sauce and add pickles if desired.
Enjoy your Big Mac Style Smash Burger Tacos while they are warm and fresh!
