1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
12 fresh jalapeno peppers
12 slices of bacon
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Carefully slice each jalapeno pepper in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
Fill each jalapeno half generously with the chicken and cheese mixture.
Wrap each filled jalapeno with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the filling is heated through.
Once cooked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
